| Unlike any Spanish class you have ever attended, this series of fun, interactive workshops bring the color and flavor of Hispanic culture to you through music and song while teaching Spanish for childbirth and mother / infant care. Unique, creative teaching techniques combine the rhythms of the Caribbean and Latin America with interactive language acquisition strategies to ensure learning and enhance student participation. Workshops combine culture and language to bring you a fuller understanding of the diversity of the major Hispanic cultural groups that have come to form part of Iowa today. This program has been approved for 12 units of continuing education credit by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Workshop Leader: Susan L. Nadathur. For speaker biography, click here.
