Advanced Perinatal Spanish in Puerto Rico
Individually-designed programs or private classes outside of scheduled courses can be arranged for childbirth professionals who have already achieved a level of proficiency in Spanish and want to perfect their skills or study advanced topics in perinatal care.  Study topics include:

* Review of advanced grammatical concepts as they apply to topics in childbirth and women's health. 

* Application of grammar to usage through guided conversation and communication within a perinatal context. 

*Practice of language skills with native childbirth professionals and expectant moms.

* Observation of local OB/GYN clinics and hospital birth settings.

* Assigned readings on local healing practices, myths and legends, and personal stories of the people who make up the island of Puerto Rico.
Historic San German is one of the oldest cities in Puerto Rico.
